Leading Hybrid Teams takes place over a six-week period. Each week’s content focuses on a specific topic that is critical to nail if you are leading a hybrid team. Every Monday, the group will come together for an hour via Zoom. You’ll get a chance to share learnings and experiences with fellow people leaders, learn the content for the week, and receive instructions on how to apply the content to your team during the week to see instant results.
Because we are obsessed with generating a positive ROI, your team will complete a short pre- and post-program survey so we can track the impact of the program on your team.
Places are limited to just 30 people leaders to ensure we create an intimate environment for people to ask questions, share learnings, and learn from each other as well as from us.
Here is a summary of what’s covered in the program:
Week 1: Cohesion
How well do you really know your team? Do you know their pet peeves? Are you not only aware of how to bring out their strengths, but also, how to avoid triggering their weaknesses? And do all of your team know these things about each other?
Week 1 will introduce you to a tool to fast-track getting to know the critical preferences and behaviours of each team member in order to dramatically improve how well you work together. After this week, all of your team will know how to bring out the best in each other, and avoid bringing out the worst.
Week 2: Rhythm
Teamwork is inherently disruptive. It requires individuals to step away from preferred routines and rhythms to accommodate others in their team and to work towards both solo and common goals.
Week 2 looks at how you can (re)structure your team’s daily rhythms to optimise productivity and wellbeing.
Week 3: Communication
How does your team communicate when things are going well? What about when things are not going well? Communication can make or break a team’s culture, yet all too often, we let communication happen without clear forethought into how it can drive the best outcomes.
During Week 3, we will share a strategy with you that will force you to make deliberate decisions about how, when, what, and why you communicate as a team. Your team’s communication will become infinitely more effective and productive.
Week 4: Meetings
Poorly run, ineffective, and unnecessary meetings can all be team culture killers. Yet so few teams give thought to how to deliberately run great meetings 100% of the time.
Week 4 delves into how you can re-boot your team’s meeting culture and ensure all meetings actually deliver positive outcomes.
Week 5: Connection
It’s easy for team culture to be eroded when you’re not all in the same place at the same time all week. Truly connecting with your team members becomes even more critical in the hybrid work world.
Week 5 will teach you connection rituals you can introduce to your team to make the most of face-to-face communication but to also drive connectedness and a positive culture when working remotely.
Week 6: Psychological Safety
Feeling safe to voice your thoughts and opinions within your team is critical for team success. Indeed, research has found that a team that has high psychological safety consistently outperforms teams that do not.
Week 6 will cover simple strategies for building psychological safety and trust within your team.
This program is perfect for anyone who is responsible for leading a team that is either remote or hybrid. Places are limited to 30 spots. The total time commitment will be roughly 12 hours (1 hour webinar each week and 1 hour to brief and apply the tools in your team).
